The doctors of Davidorf Eye Group combine to offer extensive experience, ophthalmic knowledge and skill to our patients. Started by Dr. Bernard Davidorf over 45 years ago, the practice has continually evolved to meet the vision needs of the communities of Greater Los Angeles. Dr. Jonathan Davidorf, specializing in refractive and cataract surgeries, joined his father in 1997. At our office located in West Hills, we provide comprehensive eye exams, treatment of medical eye disorders, and surgical procedures such as LASIK, cataract, corneal transplant and glaucoma surgeries. Our doctors include:
Dr. Douglas Gellerman, a highly skilled cataract and glaucoma surgeon, has provided general eye care at Davidorf Eye Group for over 15 years.
Renowned oculoplastics surgeon, Dr. Guy Massry, is considered a leader in eyelid and brow lift surgery techniques. He is a frequent speaker internationally and is often requested to perform surgery in complex cases both nationally and abroad.
Dr. Debra Tennen brings over 20 years of experience to Davidorf Eye Group. She provides general eye care and LASIK laser vision correction. With her subspecialty training in Corneal and External Ocular Disease, she is frequently consulted to treat patients with dry eye syndrome.

Davidorf Eye Group is equipped to address virtually all of your eye care concerns. Our commitment to safety, precision and the best visual outcomes possible is demonstrated in our state-of-the-art technology. For our LASIK patients, we utilize the IntraLase laser for individualized, micron accurate all-laser corneal flap creation. This is followed by a Wavefront treatment with the Allegretto Wavelight Excimer Laser. The entire procedure can be performed painlessly within a few minutes and allows most patients to return to work the following day. Even patients previously not considered as candidates for LASIK can now potentially be free of glasses and contact lenses.
For patients requiring cataract or lens replacement surgery, our doctors frequently utilize the latest multifocal, toric, and accommodative intraocular lenses. The Symfony Extended Range of Vision Lens, the ReSTOR and TECNIS multifocal lenses, the Crystalens or Trulign accommodative lens, and other astigmatism correcting Toric lenses all can potentially allow cataract patients to be free of glasses. Our patients considering cataract surgery are carefully evaluated and counseled to determine the technology to best accomplish their visual goals.
From the precise diagnostic instruments used to measure your eyes to the advanced surgical technology used to achieve the best possible visual outcome, the experienced and highly skilled doctors and staff of Davidorf Eye Group set the standard in eye care.

Your eyes are as unique as your fingerprints and our doctors and staff account for this by performing extensive tests and measurements during your visit. Words can’t express how grateful we are that you were able to help our son, Nicholas. If it were not for doctors like you that are willing to take a chance, our son would be blind today.
Thank you for taking a chance and being one of those doctors that think outside the box.
We are forever grateful,
– Nicole and Harry Yaacoubian
